Help! I have two bookings in the same room!

(see example below)





The best thing to do is to move the booking to another room. 

(if there is the same type of room available that's perfect, if not , you will have to move them to a cheaper, or, more expensive room)



To move the guest 

1) Locate an available room to move the guest to




2) Click and drag the booking to a new room (in this case we are moving him to a cheaper room)


3) Click on the bottom 'update' (or 'Update and notify guest') to move them and update the price.

OR

You can move them to a nicer room and give them a free upgrade by keeping the price the same**if you 'update and notify guest' they will be informed that they have been given a free upgrade.**







Why does this happen?:

This can happen if you have a guest that made a provisional booking for room, which expired.

Then, someone else booked the room

Then the original guest confirmed  the expired provisional booking using the payment link**   

**yes this is a bug, yes, we are on it. (updated Friday 16Nov 2018)

OR

a guest cancelled their booking, then called back later saying they want the room or perhaps a different room, the booking was brought back but someone else had already booked it.
